As it was such a beautiful morning, I decided to mark outside in the backyard when I spilt my latte precariously close to your assignments! Thank goodness nothing was ruined! After taking this photo I noticed that the spill looks like a hand pointing away from the marking...was it a sign to take a break?!?!
Yesterday I was completing the marking of your Egghead movie posters when I realized the taglines of these posters pretty much summed up how much marking I had to complete this weekend!!! LOL!!
All joking aside, I used my time wisely this weekend and did complete all the marking. You will be getting these assignments back on Monday morning and we will display them as I'm impressed with the thinking and work that you completed.
I didn't have a chance to upload the other Confederation raps but will next week!
Let's plan an end-of-year outing/celebration this week! We'll look at dates and hopefully spend a day out at High Park or the Lakeshore before the end of the year.
1. Language
i. We need to have a chat about plagiarism - what it means and how to avoid committing this offence
ii. We will complete the reading of the novel Egghead - I know you're curious about how it all ends!
2. Dance
On Monday we will showcase each other's dances in class. It was difficult to rehearse last week as so many of you were helping other classes with Scientists in the Schools and this has been delayed to this week.
3. Art
We will continue our Fingerprint art activity
4. History
We will complete the presentations this week. Please make sure you have your handouts ready to be photocopied on the morning of your presentation.
