First off, what an amazing experience the EdAppHack-athon was! From beginning to end I was so impressed with all of your ideas and the work you put towards pitching your idea. We also took an anti-bullying pledge on our Pink Shirt day last week. I put your hands on our classroom door to show our commitment to stop bullying when we see it.
Earth Day Celebration - April 22nd
On Friday at 2:00 we will participate in a neighbourhood clean up for Earth Day. We will be picking up garbage - with glove on - along Seaforth Avenue and possibly West Lodge.

Math
We will complete our patterning unit with a unit test on Tuesday.

Language
We will continue our Kenneth Oppel novel study unit. Please read the assigned pages and complete the discussion questions.
Science
We will continue to look at water accessibility and begin to discuss solutions to the problem. This week we'll also learn about what happened in Walkerton and North Battleford in reference to water contamination.
History
Both grade 7s and 8s have a project assigned. We will spend classroom time on completing these tasks.
